설날에 생각한 인문학의 목적

 

Man must be a man for the Man.

사람은 사람을 위한 사람이 되어야 한다.

In other words, Ladies and gentle men must be ladies and gentle men for ladies and gentle men.

 

President must be a inter-leader for the People.

대통령은 국민을 위한 소통의 지도자가 되어야 한다.

 

Professor must be a inter-educator for the People.

교수는 시민을 위한 상호 교육자가 되어야 한다.

 

Librarian must be a inter-civil servant for the Civilization.

사서는 문명을 위한 시민의 상호 봉사자가 되어야 한다.

 

Humanities for the people,

by the people,

of the people shall not perish from the Universe.

인간을 위한, 인간에 의한, 인간의 인문학은

세상에서 결코 사라지지 않을 것이다.
